This place has more of a diner /buffet feel than a restaurant. The pompadoms here were thin and again probably from a packet and microwaved (Something I do at home)Ģ) While it seems they are playing the same Indian music and movies in both the ambience is much better in the TM than here.

They may even come from a jar or a carton, thin and weak in flavor. Its my favorite cuisine to be honest and can eat it every day of the week if allowed.ġ) The chutneys (Complementary in both) with pompadoms are just not as fresh as the Taj Mahal (TM). I am an Indian nut and have a wealth of experience in many countries of tasting and cooking Indian food. My two day visit allowed me to try this place as a direct comparison. The previous day I ate the the Taj Mahal Grill, a restaurant I have frequented about three or four times before when I visit this area about 6 times a year. The details of why this is a three star (OK) restaurant follow:

If you are not interested in the details the other restaurant is call the Taj Mahal Grill. Believe me as this review is a result of a direct back to back comparisons between the two restaurants on two consecutive days. OK the short answer here is there is a much better restaurant than this about a mile further.
